Juliet's balcony in Verona Italy

About 150 meters from Piazza delle Erbe is a very famous building that has become something of a tourist attraction in Italy. This is the balcony where Juliet toasted her love for Romeo in Shakespeare's novel.

The balcony on which Juliet allegedly suffered is located in the center of Verona, connected to the building, which is of course called Juliet's House (Juliet's House). The house was previously the home of the Capello family, who (in Shakespeare's Capulet) and their ill-fated feud with the Montagues.

Nowadays, this place has become a place of pilgrimage for those wishing to honor Juliet, and every year she receives thousands of letters asking for advice in matters of the heart. The letters are answered by a local group of volunteers and admirers of the couple in love.
