Real estate in Piacenza

Real estate for sale: houses, villas, apartments in Piacenza, Emilia-Romagna region.

Piacenza is a province of Italy located in the Emilia-Romagna region.
Due to the special historical and geographical aspects, many residents in the province communicate in a unique dialect that even Italians themselves cannot understand, and some names of products or dishes sound completely different than in other regions of the country.
The province gained great fame thanks to the manufacture of various pork products, which are first salted and then aged. The best products produced by the experts from Piacenza:
• Pancetta, pig stomach roll, spicy and salty;
• Koppa, pig neck, low fat, aged for more than six months;
• Salami. Naturally, this is not the kind of salami that is sold in domestic stores. Italian is much better and tastier.
When visiting Piacenza, it is recommended to visit the main square of the city - Cavalli. Here is the Governor's Palace, as well as Palazzo Communale or Palazzo Gothic. The latter used to be a town hall, but now the building has lost its official status. It mainly hosts a variety of exhibitions and events.
Another important site in the province is the Palazzo Farnese. This building contains within itself almost half of all museums in the city. Here you can see a variety of frescoes, sculptures, canvases, weapons and armor.
